Borrow Books in Your Language
The State Library of New South Wales has books in over 40 languages. These books are available to borrow for free through Macquarie Regional Library. View the full list of languages on offer here.
To use our free Books in Your Language service, visit your nearest branch, call us on 02 6801 4501 or email info@mrl.nsw.gov.au

If you wish to request a specific title, you will need to use the inter-library loan service and a fee will apply.
Online Library
Access magazines, newspapers, books, audiobooks and films in your language online for free.
All you need is your Borrower ID and PIN. Your Borrower ID is the 9 digit code beneath the barcode on the front of your library card. It will start with a C and end in D (e.g. C0123456D).
In the Library
Macquarie Regional Library has books and DVDs in languages other than English. Select your language from the Advanced Search menu here to find items in your language.
Auslan
StoryBox Hub has a collection of Auslan interpreted stories for children. This series showcases fluent Auslan users telling engaging Australian stories.
