Borrowing Guidelines
Your library membership gives you access to all library resources, including physical and digital collections.
Borrowing
Library members may borrow up to 30 physical items at any one time, from any Macquarie Regional Library branch or service point, for a period of 3 weeks.
We ask that you present your library card each time you borrow.
Due dates are printed on your due date slip or you can login to your library account online for details. If the fees on your account reach $20 your borrowing privileges will be suspended.
You can also borrow a wide range of online resources, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers and eFilms, from our Online Library.
Renewals
You may renew your loans twice through the online catalogue, by phone or in person, as long as your item is not overdue or reserved by another library member.

Reservations
You can reserve up to 15 physical items at any one time through the online catalogue, by phone or in person. Reservation fees apply.

Returns
When borrowing physical items, you will receive a date due slip listing the items you’ve borrowed and the dates they are due for return. To avoid overdue fines, please return items by the due date. You may return items to any branch or service point within the Macquarie Regional Library network. After hours return chutes are available at most libraries. eResources will be returned automatically.
